We requested a room with facilities for a disabled person. The bathroom was very well provided with rails and a seat in the shower. Shower gel etc. was in large press top dispensers. The floor warm and towels a managable size for a wheelchair user. Room 500 had a large floor to ceiling window and a peep-hole in the door at both standing a sitting level. Sound proofing excellent. The beds were of a height to enable standng or sliding into a chair. The lift was smooth and quiet and controls at a convenient level for every-ones use. We paid for breakfast, which varied a bit in content but there was always plenty.

We had a lovely couple of nights at the Hotel ibis. The staff were very helpful and when we found the initial room we had been given had a persistant toilet odour, the staff gave us a new room without any quibble. The room was functional, clean and had all we needed. The breakfasts were excellent and gave a much better range than I had anticipated. The hotel is situated right opposite the Nottingham Fletcher gate carpark which we used overnight. A very conveniently placed hotel and excellent value for money.

Richard

The breakfast was great. Everything you need was there. Very freshly cooked, very clean and fresh fruits, assorted fresh juicy, and hot drinks. Above all the staff (female) was a star. Her service delivery was excellent. Very friendly and approachable, very polite and very hardworking. We liked her very much. The staff for the bedrooms were also great. The receptionist staff were a bit unprofessional and not too helpful, but the other staff made up for it.

Marian

The location was very central, straight forward from the train station, (if you can find the right exit); near the excellent Hockley area, art galleries, wine bars and eateries near by and a Tesco Metro next door. A young male member of staff was very kind and helpful when I arrived. My room provided everything I needed and was well designed with a capsule wardrobe and bathroom, large bed and great view from the window The air con was very welcome.

Anita

The hotel staff was extremely friendly. When we walked in they offered us a cold glass of water whilst they checked us into the room as it was a hot day. When we got into the room it was specious. Couldn't believe we paid £58 for it. Well technically £78 as we checked in before 12. They had aircon in the room to keep us cool and the size of the shower was huge. Bed was really comfy and the room was really clean. Plus there's a 24/7 bar which is a plus.
